We Remember

Posted on September 11th, 2011

Today marks 10 years since the horrific 9/11 attacks on the United States. Our nation still mourns the 2,819 victims who perished on that day—including the 53 souls from our Mile Square City.

And we salute America's men and women in uniform—whose sacrifices have prevented further attacks and made the world a safer place.

Over 100,000 U.S. troops remain deployed in the war zones of the Middle East. And so on this Patriot Day, our friends in the HCRC are sending "thank you" notes, snacks and care items to U.S. troops stationed overseas. If you'd like to help out, drop in anytime from 12 to 4 PM at 102 Grand Street in Jersey City. Or if you'd like to make a small donation, you can do so here.
